Non Surgical Skin Tightening
using advanced Radio Frequency Microneedling
Gives skin back its SNAP!
Microneedling in combination with Radiofrequency (RF) is a new, non-surgical skin rejuvenation procedure being used around the world. The joining of these two techniques helps to lift, firm and tighten the skin, reduce wrinkles, shrink pores and even minimise acne scars and other blemishes.
RF Microneedling sometimes referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a game-changer for skin rejuvenation and aesthetics treatments. The treatment offers significant improvements in skin texture and tone with little to no downtime.
Top 5 Reasons to have RF Microneedling
1. Two Treatments In One
When targeting fine lines and wrinkles, treatments commonly look to stimulate the production of collagen. Radiofrequency Microneedling does this in two distinct ways. Microneedling gently punctures the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response by producing new, collagen-rich tissue. Radiofrequency heats the skin deep in the dermal layer, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin.
2. No Downtime
RF Microneedling can offer similar results to ablative laser procedures but with significantly less discomfort and downtime. Less post-procedure redness is also experienced. A short course of treatments yields long-lasting results and after each session, you can get on with your day-to-day activities.
3. RF Energy Penetrates Deeply
RF Microneedling delivers Radiofrequency deep into the dermis, boosting skin tightening and scar reduction results. The Radiofrequency heats the underlying layers, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as triggering collagen and elastin production. As the Radiofrequency is delivered so deeply, it can produce faster, more dramatic results.
4. Suitable For All Skin Types
The treatment is considered suitable for all skin types and tones, with little risk of burning, scarring, or pigmentation issues when performed by a trained practitioner.
5. Treats A Number Of Skin Complaints
Beyond the benefits of skin tightening and smoothing, the procedure can help fade the appearance of scars and stretch marks. It benefits the skin, both structurally and superficially.
WHAT DOES RF MICRONEEDLING TREAT?
The Derma RF Microneedling treatment is ideal for improving:
Ageing skin (face, neck and chest)
Fine lines and wrinkles
Acne scars
Scars, including surgical scars
Stretch marks
Skin quality, tone and texture
The treatment is safe and highly effective. It is suitable for all skin types and clients seeking skin revitalisation.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Derma RF uses microneedles to deliver radio frequency energy into varying levels of the skin including the deeper layers where treatment is most beneficial. Unlike other devices which only deposit energy in upper layer of the skin, RF de-livers RF energy below the surface where it’s needed most to help revitalise and regenerate the tissue. This unique delivery of energy allows us to achieve optimal results with little to no downtime on all skin types.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE LIKE?
Derma RF is an easy, safe and effective procedure with minimum downtime. During the treatment, you will feel a slight heating and some pressure on the treatment area. For most clients, the treatment is tolerable, but I will work with you to maximise your comfort level. Prior to the procedure a numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to increase comfort during the treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
Clients typically need 3-4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Most clients report seeing improvement after the second treatment however results are optimised 3 months after the last treatment.
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT LAST?
Results vary based on the individual. To maintain results, maintenance treatments are recommended every 12-18 months.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY PROCEDURE?
After the treatment you will be asked to refrain from wearing make up for several hours. Any minor redness or swelling resulting from treatment will subside within 12-24 hours. After the treatment, you can expect to return to normal activities.
